This week youspeak.me rebuilt its front door around one action: getting the YouSpeak app onto your phone.

The homepage now carries a dedicated download card. Three channels sit side by side — the App Store, Google Play, and an official APK hosted by YouSpeak itself. On a phone you tap a button; on a desktop you scan a QR code. The card states the rule plainly: no redirect, no region detection. The choice of channel stays with the reader.

The header above it got shorter. The languages menu left the top navigation, and two content sections took its place: News, this newsroom, and Insights, the hub on speaking practice. A visitor who lands on the homepage is now one click from both.

iPhone and iPad visitors reading the site in Safari will notice one more change. The pages now carry Apple's native Smart App Banner, so a link to the YouSpeak App Store listing rides at the top of the screen.

The privacy policy was updated as well. Microsoft Azure AI Speech now appears in the service-provider table, alongside the other services that process call audio.

What changed this week

  • A download section on the homepage: App Store, Google Play, and official APK, with QR codes on desktop and buttons on mobile.
  • Top navigation: News and Insights in, the languages menu out.
  • Apple's native Smart App Banner on the site, pointing iOS Safari visitors to the App Store listing.
  • Privacy policy updated: Microsoft Azure AI Speech listed in the provider table.

Why it matters

Every change this week shortens the distance between curiosity and a first free call. The site no longer assumes which store a reader uses; it offers all three and lets the reader pick. And the two new header links make the newsroom and the methodology hub part of the first visit, not a discovery at the bottom of a page.
